The Drum Beat 592: International Development - Your Opinion and Analysis?
What has been the contribution of development agencies in the North Africa dynamic? What are the next steps for HIV/AIDS strategies and action? Is equity the best approach to children related issues? Does community radio remain relevant? What are the most compelling development priorities? Is citizen journalism positive for media development? What are the core elements for effective social and behavioural change? Should we organise Development like Facebook? Are environment and climate change slipping as public priorities?
On these and other key development questions, your analysis, opinions, policy ideas and critique, individually and collectively, as people involved in development action, really matter.
This Drum Beat is a little different.
Through the Polls process on The Communication Initiative platform, we want to provide you, as a working member of our international development social network, with the space to express your perspectives on important development policy trends, strategies, or events. With your perspective expressed, you are then able to review the collective views and opinions of others - and to comment on those if you wish. (Please note that you can contribute logged in or as anonymous.)
Within this Drum Beat, there are links to 9 polls currently present on The CI site. For the reasons just outlined can we please encourage you to:
- Click on the links for the poll questions of interest to you.
- Choose the option within each poll that best reflects your perspective.
- Click "Vote".
- You will then see the collective votes of everyone who has voted on that question.
- Click on "Add a New Comment" to express any particular views and ideas that you wish to enter into the conversation on the theme of the poll question.
- Check back in to these links on a regular basis to see how the vote is going and what comments are being shared.
Thanks - please do "vote" and comment on the relevant polls below.
